RETRACTABLE TIP: This metal pencil is applied to J-type snap switch, which is similar with bolt action pen. The tip can be retracted and well protected in the barrel when it is not in use. Screw off the silver cap, there is a cylinder eraser, which is interchangeable.
SPECIFICATION: Overall length is 5.9 inch(150mm including tip), diameter 0.4 inch(10mm), weight 0.56 oz(16g). This HB pencil have multi-color barrel, they are blue, black, red, silver and champagne. Also, we provide 2 tips as refills.
MATERIAL: Made of metal alloy, very durable, not cheap, also suitable as a gift. The silver cap and bracket are made of brass with eco-friendly chrome plating; the barrel is stainless steel with a matte finish; the black nib is made of metal alloy and graphite, and one nib can write over 32,808 feet (10,000 meters).

Used it one time and it won't even clickI recently got a small sling bag for EDC and wanted a good pencil to go with my pens. So far this seems like a great choice for that. The outside is a very nice and smooth metal. The bolt as a pretty firm spring in it which I like a bunch with a reversible eraser in the twist off cap on the top.The lead does seem to write pretty lightly compared to a normal pencil unless you use more force, but that will hopefully change the more that I use it.This pencil is honestly just so NEAT! I love that I don't have to worry about sharpening it or my lead breaking. It does write lighter than other pencils but that's not a big problem for me. I love how smoothly it writes and just the overall uniqueness of it.I have a small EDC pouch that I keep a write in rain notpad. I used to keep a number 2 pencil in it but the tip always broke at the worst possible time. This pencil is durable, and the lead portion is retractable so no worries as far as broken tips are concerned.The bolt action is a little stiff but hopefully once it's broken in it'll loosen up. All in all pencil for every day carry.Not very practical. I guess if you’re in a position where you need a pencil but can’t carry a sharpener, this may do, but I can’t imagine that position. The line isn’t way to faint to be useful, and it’s like trying to write with a rock. Sure looks neat tho!This is a really cool product. In theory its a great thing, but I learned you have to press pretty hard to write. I attached a picture to show how it writes. It includes 2 extra tips but theyre so small Ill lose them by tomorrow. Overall its cool but I dont see myself using it everydayInteresting pencil, a conversation starter at the office. It works well, but writes lighter than expected. In the picture the lower writing is the Bolt Action Pencil. Although it works it does not glide across the paper surfaces as you are writing so it takes a little more effort to use.I'm a pencil enthusiast, so whenever I see a novel pencil, I need to try it. This "metal pencil" is super weird, but I think it's great for certain use cases. As a shop pencil, I'm giving this 5 stars. It's got a stout tip that won't break and it seems to take forever to dull. The first thing I did when I got it was write on everything I could for about a half hour, and the tip looks as good as new. It should last a while. Apparently the "lead" is some metal alloy mixed with graphite. The line it lays down looks good on wood. It's clear and crisp and not too fat. The barrel and retractable action feel solid and robust, and I think it could handle the rigors of shop life.Now, I would NOT recommend this as a pencil in the home or office. The line is just too light on paper, and the tip is so hard it isn't easy to write with. It's like writing with a 9H pencil. But I don't want to knock this pencil for what it isn't. It's a cool shop pencil, and I'm okay with that. Having said that, I would still prefer something like a Pica-Dry pencil in my woodshop, but I'm glad I have this in my pencil collection.
