It’s very sturdy, and shows no sign of wear.I use it to store my pens, eraser, sticky notes and tabs, lip balm, and hand lotion, which I use frequently throughout the day and want to keep them at hand.Before, they were going everywhere on my desk and keeping them in cups were inconvenient as smaller items got lost at the bottom and had to get fished out by taking things out of the said cup, and regular desk organizer tray would take up too much space.This swiveling tray proved to be the perfect solution. It keeps the tray and its contents completely tucked under the desk when not in use, and all I have to do is to swivel it to access it. After using whatever I needed, back under my desk it would go. The small items are completely hidden from sight, and my desk is nice and clean.The swiveling mechanism is stiffer than what I thought it would be, but I got used to it pretty quickly.It should fit most desks. The only time I had issue was when I used it for a style of desk that had an apron board. The tray would hit the apron beneath the table top and couldn’t swivel back under the desk. Even then, I liked having it just as an extension to my desk, as it still kept clutter off the desk space.I recently got a new job, and this tray was the first thing I took to my new office desk. I love this thing so much!UPDATE: I’ve now been using this everyday for around 7 years, and it looks and operates the same as the day I got it. This thing is very well built, and it’s made to last.I like using it as an extra desk space to place my keyboard to the side while sketching out concepts on my sketchbook.This is one of the most favorite things I bought for my workspace!
