I bought this set as someone who always loves to doodle, but have no real innate talent when it comes to drawing. I've been inspired to "start from the beginning", and this set has been perfect for me. I'm big into Bullet Journaling and have also picked up watercolor, and these pencils are great for my loose sketching. I highly recommend this set! I love that it comes with a little carrying pouch, too.I really like the fact that it has the essentials items for a beginner. his particular item, I chose it because it was supposed to be a gift and the child loves it. :)
