We haven't used them yet, but looks to me like they are perfect for what I want them for.I bought for my daughter (now she'll know when someone steals her pencil... ?). They are beautiful and write very well. And, yes, she's going to notice I snagged a couple for myself... ??I usually buy the Ticonderoga brand pencils but I wanted some more variety and decided to give these a try. Our kids are homeschooled and go through pencils very quickly and these were a nice amount for a decent price. They write just as well as the other brand, the erasers are good (not hard or anything), and I like the pretty pastel colors.My children reported that the lead broke easily and the eraser did not erase well. I picked the pencils for decor sake but they pretty much did not pass muster for practical use. Will not purchase again.My 7 year old loves the colors of her pencils!
